Australia | Scientists alarmed as resurvey of Otway NP fails to find an endangered mouse species

A species of native mouse has disappeared from the Great Otway National Park, sparking fears for its survival in Victoria.


Populations of the New Holland mouse had been recorded at 42 sites in the eastern part of the national park, south-west of Melbourne, up until 2003.
