Quietly, negotiations resume in bid to end Yosemite trademark dispute

Negotiations appear to have quietly resumed in a big Yosemite National Park trademark dispute, renewing the possibility of a peaceful settlement to a multimillion-dollar fight that's drawn in some heavy hitters.

Earlier settlement forays failed, setting Yosemite's former concessionaire, a subsidiary of Delaware North, on a collision course with the federal government in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Wide-ranging discovery has been underway for a trial that could still occur next year.
