Renovations now complete, Yosemite NP’s Mariposa Grove to reopen to public for first time since 2015
For years, one of Yosemite National Park's most popular attractions has been off limits to the public. But that will change Friday.
Park officials have confirmed the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias will fully reopen to the public at 9 a.m. on Friday, nearly three years after restoration work began. Sequoia trees are among the largest living things on earth, and the estimated 500 trees in Mariposa make up the largest collection within the park.
