Wales | Government to lower NP budgets to 2001 levels; Snowdonia NP chief calls cuts “frightening”

Welsh ministers are being accused of imposing big cuts on the country's national parks, while the budgets of England's beauty spots are protected.

Financial support for Wales' three national parks - Pembrokeshire Coast, Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia - is set to fall to its lowest level since 2001.
